Removing Generator from WP 2.5
May 11, 2008 | In Developer, WordPressKirk from Just Thinkin’ came up with a fix for the peculiar piece of code that was re-introduced into WordPress 2.5 which displays the version number of your WP install in your theme. This was previously found in the header.php file of the theme.
